Happy March Spectrum friends and families. I wanted to share some highlights from February at SCS. First some photos from our 2nd semester clubs - Art, Music, Baking, Anime, Movie, Games & Just Dance. In February we also celebrated Random Acts of Kindness Week. We kicked off kindness by celebrating Pal-entine's Day. Student Council delivered Pal-entines to students. This was a student council fundraiser. To continue Kindness Week, we had a spirit week, students received Horton (Dr. Seuss) buttons, we had a poster contest and a door contest. Thank you to Ms. Perry and Ms. Lyon for all their hard work. Congratulations to Mrs. Rosendale and Mrs. Bender's homeroom for winning the door contest - they will receive a donut day!!With February being Black History Month - we ended the month with an assembly organized by Mr. Stedina. Students colored mosaic posters and a presentation was shown by Mr. Stedina. Great job everyone!!On Friday we also announced the winner of the student poster contest. Congratulations to our winner!!!
