About Spectrum Charter School

Spectrum Charter School is a tuition-free, public charter school located on Northern Pike in Monroeville, Pennsylvania.

The school is structured to meet the needs of students who do not learn well in traditional classroom settings due to cognitive, communication, and sensory challenges, including students with autism spectrum disorders.

Spectrum Charter School students inducted as Forbes Road Career & Technology Center 2024 National Technical Honor Society members

Today during our (PRT) Pittsburgh Regional Transit training, we took a trip from CCAC Monroeville Campus to the Monroeville Mall using public transportation! 🚌Our students had the opportunity to learn real-life skills like how to read bus schedules, understand routes, and the importance of being on time. Students in Mrs.Rimmels and Ms.Mckenneys class have finished up their Blackout Poetry unit. Blackout poetry refers to any poem in which the author covers a majority of a source text in favor of leaving a handful of words exposed to form a poem.
